Hello All! After a long summer break and not hearing from me for a long time, here is a short update. I just started my season out here in Saas-Fee. For the people that don’t know Saas-Fee, it’s a car free village and people live in houses where goats used to sleep, eat and shit.  … You would think this would be the sickest village ever if people live in those kind of houses, but actually it’s pretty boring.   Basically there is just a really big mountain, huge glacier and a good fun-park. I’m here now with the Dutch team to train and get used to my board again.  I haven’t been on a board for the last 5 months, so it’s kind of necessary. Even though I haven’t been snowboarding for so long, it’s actually going very well. Here is a small clip off Dimi, Rocco and myself having some fun on our way to the park!

I haven’t had a update on my site for a little while now, actually because there is not much to update about involving my snowboarding. I have been home for a few weeks now and snowboarding season is over. I do like to keep ya’ll up to date about what is going on in my life right now though. Thats why I came up with a new thing to let you guys see what I’m doing right now in my life. Im going to post pictures every now and then that I’ve been taking off the things I experience in Holland and wherever I’m gonna be this summer. It’s gonna be called: “My Life”

After 10 days of hardcore shredding the shit out of Breckenridge and Copper’s parks, I made a small edit of some footage that everybody in the team shot during the past 10 days. Check out the good times in the US of A!!

Two days ago I arrived in Denver to snowboard some more park in the US, Colorado, with the Dutch team. Yesterday the weather was really bad, so we decided to do other stuff. Today we go up on the mountain and I’m really stoked to ride park again, haven’t be able to ride that much park this year so it’s gonna be good to do that for 10 days again. I’ll keep you updated with maybe some video footage later this week.

After my Protest shoot I had another shoot I got invited to, it was for the car brand Seat. They wanted to have a promotion video for they’re Freetrack 4×4 model. It was a 4 days shoot together with Dimi de Jong in Les 2 alpes and it was allot of fun. It was really good to meet the people from Seat, I also think it was a good experience for the people from Seat. They’ve seen how a snowboard shoot goes and what’s happening in the snowboard scene. Hopefully the promotion video turns out to be a keeper!

After being home from Spain for 17 hours, I was already flying out to Sweden for a photo shoot with Protest. This shoot was in Sweden, Klappen and the whole team was there. The shoot took 5 days and it was fun to hang out with the protest team again. This photo is made by me and Protest already agreed to put this photo on all the ad’s because its such a sick shot!

After being home for a few weeks and doing no updates, I thought its time to let you all know how Im doing and what Im up to! I had 2 more competitions that weren’t really successful for me. I ended up 18th in Italy and 15th in Spain, not my best results in a competition. Even if the results weren’t that good I still had allot of fun at the competition and with the people who were competing in sunny Italy and Spain!
